Meet Kathleen Wallace, Au.D. 

Dr. Kathleen Wallace is an audiologist based in Brooklyn, New York, recognized for her expertise in alternative service delivery models and educational content creation. She provides in-home hearing consultations throughout New York City through Anywhere Audiology and is the Head of Provider Education for Tuned, a virtual hearing benefit.

Kathleen’s work has been featured in prominent audiology journals, podcasts, and conferences. Her educational content on social media has garnered millions of views on TikTok (@EarDocOfTikTok), Instagram (@KathleenWallaceAuD), and LinkedIn (Kathleen Wallace, Au.D.).

A proud alumna of Dartmouth College (B.A. in Music) and The City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate Center (Doctor of Audiology, Au.D.), Kathleen combines her extensive education with a passion for improving hearing healthcare. Her main goals are to raise public awareness for hearing and balance disorders, enhance the accessibility of audiological care, and promote the profession of audiology.

  • Deliver in-home hearing healthcare to residents of New York City.

  • Design and present educational seminars to community members and senior living facilities. 

Audiologist, Head of Provider Education

Tuned

  • Train and oversee audiologists seeing members on Tuned, a virtual comprehensive hearing benefit offered by employers.

  • Deliver quarterly educational seminars and educational outreach materials.

  • Inform feature development and user experience of the platform. 

Editorial Board

Hearing Heatlh Foundation

  • Contribute quarterly to Hearing Health Magazine, the Hearing Health Foundation's consumer-facing magazine.

  • Fact check and revise articles for accuracy. 

Outside of the booth

Kathleen hails from a small town on Long Island, where she grew up with her four siblings, parents, and live-in grandma. She has always been a sports and music enthusiast and continued both passions into college, majoring in music and playing on the varsity lacrosse team at Dartmouth College.

After a few years working other jobs, Kathleen moved to New York City to pursue her Au.D. at the City University of New York Graduate Center and never left. Kathleen lives along the waterfront in Brooklyn with her wife Bridget, their two children, and dog. She enjoys early morning runs, a great brewery, beach days, and an engaging audiobook.
